SCHEDULE
The retreat will begin Friday, 11/6 at 8:30 PM and end on Sunday, 11/8 with lunch at Spruce Lake Retreat Center. Dinner will be 'on your own' and on the way to the retreat center, which is a 2+ hours drive from NYC. Early arrival is permitted, but room check-in will begin around 6 PM. We plan to provide childcare for all of the main sessions.
REGISTRATION FEE
Financial Assistance: We don't want the cost to prohibit anyone from coming so please do not hesitate to request a subsidy! To request a subsidy, email Grace (graceho@joychurch.com) about your situation and complete this form by selecting the "Pending Subsidy $0" option for 'LODGING' and 'MEALS'. We will follow up with next steps.

MEALS (3 Meals on Saturday; 2 Meals on Sunday)
One Adult: $100
Children ages 6-11 yr: $50 per child

FREEWILL DONATION
If you would like to donate to the subsidy fund to help individuals/families in need of financial assistance to attend the retreat, please enter an amount in the section below. It will be automatically applied to your total. Please note: This donation is, unfortunately, not tax deductible. Also, if there is a surplus after all subsidy applicants have been helped, we will use the remaining funds to cover other retreat costs, if necessary. Thank you!
VOLUNTEERING FOR CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
If you would like to volunteer time during one of the four sessions to serve as an assistant in the Children's Ministry, please check the box below and we'll be in touch. As a gesture of our appreciation, we will refund a portion of your registration fee closer to the date of the retreat.
CHARTER BUS
Secure your seat on the charter bus, which is fully subsidized by church, by selecting it at the bottom of the form. We will follow up by email so please keep your eye on the inbox for instructions. By registering for a seat on the Charter Bus, you understand and agree to NOT seek or consider other modes of transportation to/from the retreat center.
Pickup: Friday, 11/6 at 5:15 PM
311 W 34th St. New York, NY 10001 (across the street from AMC Theater near Penn Station)
Dropoff: Sunday, 11/8 at 4:00 PM
Departing Spruce Lake at 1:30 PM (drop-off will be the same location as pickup)
It is roughly a 2.5 hour non-stop trip each way. The bus will have a restroom.
Please note: We understand if you run behind a few minutes for the Friday pickup, but please understand that we can't wait for long without forfeiting the bus. If you have a concern about this, please leave a comment below.
CAR
Decide to drive yourself and others in a car (personal or rental vehicle). The church will not coordinate this mode of transportation. But please reach out if you have questions.
